Ha ha, the aid in our class is an ex fireman, and he said he had to help out one guy who ended up getting all three hoods in a treble hook stuck in his eye! Lucky for him, he ended up not loosing any vision and all he was good to go. Sorry for the graphic pic. Should've offer some warning.

Thanks Shadow - Lots got it worse than me - so it's all good

My basement was waterlogged when I got home - 1st time in 16 years. Spent 3 hours ripping up carpet, bagging the padding and setting up the dehumidifier. Called State Farm and they said they have had so many calls today that they have already declared this a catastrophe - whatever that means

My son has water in the first level of his 3 story townhouse, and I have lost contact with him :eek:

2 employees could not even make it to work today, and I let the others go at 3pm to make sure they could get home


Life is still good :thumbup: It will all work out - I got faith

and 2 morrow is a new day :D
 
I'm pullin for you, your family, and the community RedBear. I am sure all will work out and your son will be safe.

I have gone too many days wet in my younger years to want to go back there now - still working on some of those fungi's, but maybe they are from something else :D

Told the wifey to gas up and get some canned goods and water - she fugin laughed at my anal preparedness - so I'm headed to the sto and will catch you guys lata -
 
Glad to year you are safe Redbe. We had a flooded basement earlier this year at my parents place. Not fun :(

Bruce, my buddy does water remediation. He told me setup lots of fans and dehumidifiers.
