Well Mangs, spent the day scouting for deer up along the Lake Superior area. took my camp 2 along on my belt. We decided to make a fire on the shore of Muscalonge lake at my buddy's camp.I can not believe how fast I was able to batton through wood to get kindling prepped to start the fire. I know know this will always be with me when hunting up in that area. The weather can change on the drop of a dime and being able to build a fire and shelter could mean the difference between getting out or not!

Any of you guys ever look at one of your EDC setups? And are surprised at just how much money you have sunk into one set up?

Could have bought another Glock 20, for what I have sunk into my last Busse EDC.

nice setups guys.
I have to get one of Les Georges EDC folders
Brian,is it strong enough to do "light" prying, like
popping a tack out of a wall?
(with the spine of the knife)

Who was it that wanted more pics of the counters? There you go,,, :D

Nice collection Brian! I need to get one of those George folders one day. :)

John, The tack would almost be out of the wall before you could fit the spine behind the head. They are real thick. IIRC the spines are .21" thick. I don't like to pry with folders, but if I had to pry with one this would be it (much more then my Sebenza).

Kurt when you talk about how much money we have tied up into an edc I think of it as insurance. I try not to think of how much money I have tied up in 2 gun safes that are full, But you guy's are like I am we buy stuff we know we can count our lives on. I do need to get one of those top end flashlights though.Still carry the 4 D cell Maglight.

OMG! Setups! Both are nice, Trukel + BBT!
I have a DC Busse AD in black G10 w/ Chuddybear sheath (which was especially expensive) and Eagle Tac flashlight (they say its max output is 290 lumen, didn't test it, but it sure can blind me for a while), I also EDC a 21" telescopic baton and Sabre Red pepper spray... and yes, I could have had a 6" barrel .44 Mag. or even .454 Casull Ruger sixgun instead of this, esp. when I also count in the Busse BOSS Jack :o
I don't EDC the AD however, I carried it just a few days and found out it's too big for me, also the choil gets in the way sometimes - so I'm gonna EDC the Neckers from Jeremy
And I don't want a choil on any of my future knives anymore...
