Bear's not getting this one back, unless he comes for it. And if he does, I'll drop him at 500 yards.
:D
Danks, Bear!!

Oh, I'm back.

Just a short trip. Had to get KnifeAddictAK from AK to VA. He's safely set up at his new University.

He's a fine, young man. He should post here.:)

That was a mighty fine gesture OP - That's why you are THE MAN!

Pic kind of sucks, but here's my Deer Hunting Rifle. :D

I'm trying to put together the funds for an AR myself.

What make is it?

I'm betting Large's is a probably a Colt,,,

If your asking about mine, it's more of a Franken AR. Rock River Receivers, Noveske 12.5" Barrel, LaRue rail, Leupold Scope, YHM SS Phantom. If not, disregard,,,:o

Well, I've put in my application for another gun permit this morning,,, looking to go ahead and buy that .45ACP pistol I have been longing for,,, now the waiting begins,,, can take upto 4 months overhere to get a gun permit,,,pfffttt... I was definitely born on the wrong continent...

If it makes you feel any better, thats about how long it takes to get a NFA item approved here. My last one took 5 months. :grumpy:

What would you guys advise,,, buying a new Norinco NP30 Big Ten (stainless) or buying a secondhand Springfield 1911 that was upgraded with enhanced trigger, beavertail, enhanced safety, hammer, etc etc original parts included though ? (see rubbish cellphone pic underneath)

Thing is,,, I don't know much about the history of the Springfield and it's about $190 us more expensive then the NIB Norinco which got a lot more extra's to booth... BTW, the Norinco's are about $515 us overhere....

Here's a pic of the Norinco I had in mind,,,

Choices, choices....

@trukreltrog: NFA items are probably full-auto assault rifles ? Those things are simply forbidden for civilians overhere.... and now the new trend is to prohibit knives aswell overhere on this grand ol' continent,,, oh mang :jerkit::grumpy:

Yes it does include those. But Full Auto Guns are "Rich Mans" toys here. $10,000 to $14,000 for an M-16, then you have to feed it $400-$700 cases of ammo. That adds up fast. :(

Silencers and SBR/SBS, are NFA too.

I was under the impression, Silencers could be bought at the corner drug store. In certain Countries over there?

Yeah tru, I was asking about yours.
I like the looks of the rock river stuff.
Only wish I had been wise enough to order a 1911 from them
I would recommend anyone looking at the 1911 platform to give Fusion Firearms a look
I just received a govt. sized tact-5 from them and the lead time was about 14 wks.
Not bad for a semi custom built to your specs.
There prices are very competitive as well.
