WAY to expensive for what you get. Depends how rough of a texture you want. i wear gloves most of the time when shooting so I don't mind a little bite. mine sports Davidson Shredders. simonich gunner grips are nice as are a few models of VZ grips.

Very Nice 45! Rlarge - Grips look good too,

Those Busse grips for the 1911,,, are they any good or should I get me some rubber ones ? Anybody know ?

The Busse grips are nice, especially if you like the knives, but are more expensive than some of the other nice grips out there. I like the gunner grips and have them on one of the Delta's - I used some fine sandpaper to make mine a little less agressive.

I have a set of Busse's on a 45, and like them as they are a little thicker than other grips and feel good in the hand - and look great

Lots of people change out grips on 1911's so you can usually find some good deals on used grips once you figure out what you want

Bruce don't read this post.:D

Greg, if your looking at the 20, you may also want to look at the 20SF (small frame). They recontoured the grip to make it a little smaller, more like a 17, and in my opinion more comfortable and pointable.

I heard the Japanese are actually considering implementing the camera gun for police issues instead of a real gun. Supposedly they can take photos of the criminal actions and nobody gets hurt....aside from whoever the criminal is accosting.
