Hi all,
Please be 21 to purchase and know your local knife laws. Price includes shipping (US only, please). I reserve the right to sell to whomever I choose, but generally the first "I'll take it" here followed by a PM gets the knife. PayPal F&F please, no comments. No trades.
These don't come up too often-- this one pains me to let go, but I've gone a little crazy with purchases recently, so I have to make some tough decisions.
Clyde Challenor Customs Viper (reverse tanto, M390): I'm the original owner of this. I got on Clyde's list a long time ago after catching this knife on YouTube... after a ~10mo wait or so, I was very happy to receive it. Worth the wait! It's a very cool front flipper with nice hollow grind down to a thin edge. Handles are ergonomic and the blasted finish is quite nice.
This one did develop some lock slip, so I recently sent it back to Clyde for warranty work. He worked his magic, and now it's solid -- no play in either direction that I can perceive. I've carried this some and used it a little -- there's a touch of snails on the pivot and some faint scratches on the end of the blade (see photos). I've had it apart to clean it and to take the clip off (and subsequently put back on). Never sharpened. Overall, I'd say light use. Mostly just flipped and admired. Comes with CCC pouch and COA.
I love this knife, I've just started to gravitate toward smaller knives. I'm on Clyde's list for another, though, so inevitably when the pendulum swings the other way, I'm sure I'll be thrilled to pick up another one of these in the future! It's kind of like a front flipping Sebenza Insingo... so it's awesome.
Asking sold for this guy (this was $750 and 10mo wait new for me, but he's upped his table to $900 since then)
CK Maverick S, titanium / zirc: Picked up a user in this configuration with full intent on modifying the user, but this is so damn good as it is. Passing along my newer one, since I don't mind a light user. I also don't need a backup in light of some recent purchases, so along this one goes.
I'm the second owner, purchased on the secondary. Never disassembled or sharpened, however has been carried and used a little. Light use overall. Solid lockup, centering, and action. Maybe a snail here or there, but nothing major. Clip does have a small mark in it. Comes with box/pouch. These zirc variants don't come up so much -- asking SOLD Thanks for looking!
