Clyde has gone...

I'm deeply sorry for your loss. And to where Clyde has gone, he has taken your love with him.

Sorry to hear that Clydetz.
It's never easy.
Remember the good times.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your friend and (if I may say it) family member. Hold his memories dear.

We’ll meet again, my friend., on some fine day.

I believe this too Gary! God made critters cause he loves em and I know they'll be in eternity with us!
I'm so sorry you and Clyde have been separated for now but you'll find him again someday!!!!!!!!!

Very sorry for your loss.

Dogs are absolutely my life, so I really feel for what you're going through right now.

When we die we would be very fortunate to go there where dogs go when they die.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Knowing when to make that final trip for a loved one is one of the most important decisions a person will ever make.

-Bob

There wasn't another dog on this earth who was loved more than him. Maybe as much, but not more.

He is with you in spirit, and when you dream him he'll be happy to see you. A good dog will stand with you forever.

Again, I thank you all for the kind words. It's going to be hard getting up during these winter months without Clyde here to poke and prod me along. I find myself saying... 'Get out of bed... do it for Clyde!' Worked today!

Sorry about your loss. I've enjoyed your Clyde stories.

My Baron and Zoe send their condolences.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Several years ago, when the Vet called and said it was time to put our dog to sleep, my old Department Head let me leave work and see her off. The next day, he gave me this excerpt from a poem by Don Blanding. I think it really sums up what a good dog is all about.

There are times when only a dog will do
For a friend . . . when you’re beaten, sick and blue
And the world’s all wrong, for he won’t care
If you break and cry, or grouch and swear,
For he’ll let you know as he licks your hands
That he’s downright sorry . . . and understands.

I like that! Don Blanding must have had his share of 4-legged friends.

My condolences, you were lucky to have a friend like that. May you always cherish the memories.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I was going to send you "The Rainbow Bridge" but somebody already has. When I lost my newfie Sisu, that poem was given to me. It helped alot to read it. You will see him again. Until then he is in your heart.

There simply are no words sufficient to such a loss. Very few people can ever measure up to the standards set by our beloved animals. You will meet Clyde again one day and he will welcome you then. I am so sorry for your loss.

It's difficult to say something that the others haven't already put into words. Clyde made a good choice when he adopted you and then decided you were worthy of being owned by him.

Clyde was a great friend and soulmate to you. Even though Clyde will never been here with you (physically) on earth, he will always be with you in spirit. And when the time comes for you to pass over Rainbow Bridge, Clyde will be waiting for you.

I've sent word to Shadow and Elizabeth, my Lhasa Apsos who went to the bridge 2 year ago, to keep tabs on Clyde and show him the ropes. He will not be alone. He will not be in pain and he will be having a blast.

It is so difficult when we must say good-bye. But we say it and we do the right thing for our friend(s) who have served us well as our companions.

I am happy for you that you had all of the time you did to share your life with Clyde, and vice-versa. You were both very lucky.

When or if the time is right, you will be adopted and owned by another. And who knows.... maybe it will be a dog that Clyde sent to keep an eye on you and keep you out of trouble.

Or, more likely, Clyde knows how lonely you are without him and he loves you so very much that he doesn't want you to be alone.

My more sincerely condolences on Clyde's passing.
