Coal Creek 'hawk update- edge retention

I've been using this hawk heavily for a few days now and thought I'd post an update on the edge durability. I've been shaping green wood for camp chairs and throwing the hawk at pine rounds. All the wood I've worked with since my initial write up has been soft with the exception of an ironwood branch that I split and rough shaped for a bow. I sharpened and polished the edge when I got it and have been "stropping" it on my denim jeans regularly while I have been working with the hawk to keep the edge keen and clean. I would have had to fully sharpen the edge on my trail hawk by now but as you can see, the edge is still mirror polished and plenty sharp for utility purposes.
P.S. still no edge rolling or denting.

Steve makes great hawks and recently great (HUGE) Bowies.
Nice looking edge on your hawk.
