Coalite, buckLite, 422

Hello..... :eek: ... ;)

It is not black. Mostly looks golden. However, it appears differently under different light and at different viewing angles. The entire knife appears unused. But the cutting edge grind is not the usual one with visible toothyness at the extreme edge. Instead it is smoother looking but still razor-like in sharpness.

The figure is a workman leaning on his pick-axe and he is wearing a hard hat with light and I believe that the container on his right is a lunch pail. It is a wonderful piece.

Thanks Oregon, I have a few of them but only took a picture of one of them... The one I took a picture of as a Black Stamping on the blade, Like Hkingdom posted on the thread " feeling lite today... I'm going to post some pictures of mine on that thread later today, I hope... And Hk's 422 coalite is different than mine... Oregon, can you post a picture of your golden etch blade on that post, too ... Thanks, ITE ... :thumbup:

The miner, full of vigor, can't hold still for long. Even on the blade of a knife. Good catch Mr. Detail.
