Got a 730BT and it is a great knife. However, I have read from the posts here that the black BT2 coating will eventually scratch and look bad........ So, what are my options at that point? Can you send them back to Benchmade to be restored? If I were to take all the stuff off and polish the blade how would I do it? Do you have to take the blade out of the handle to work on it? Do you have to start with one type of 'grit' and work your way down? Is there someone who does this type of work that I can send the blade off to be polished? Thanks for the info! This is one awesome knife and I plan on carrying it for a LONG time so I'm planning ahead.
