There are not many toothpicks in my collection of users and safe Queens, less than the fingers on one hand. And very few colorful knives because of a morbid fear of Celluloid! This updated version of a very traditional knife nearly leapt out of the computer at me!! There it sat, not long after being posted on the Knifemakers "for sale" Forum.
Almost always, the knives I see there are SOLD, so I fumbled around, finally hitting the right keys, and here it is!
Ken makes a nice, well fitted knife, and this is no exception. And, I can hardly lose it (ahem) with such eye-catching handles!
Sunk joint, great swedges and grind lines, this 4 5/16" snappy beauty is in my pocket today, opposite my Bose WT, and I have never felt so well equipped!!

Color is inspirational, and some natural stones are indescribable for the visual joy they bring, not unlike a particularly well designed knife! Just to illustrate how I treat "She who Finds Knives", I've pictured the knife with one of her Christmas presents, made by me. Lapis seeds, assembled Santo Domingo style.

My knife from Ken has earned me many a compliment...which is to say of course the knife earned them. It has brought me much joy and I know yours will bring you the same...

Great sticker there, Charlie. Ken's lean 'n' mean rendition of the classic toothpick is just perfect in my book. The point on these things could pick a flea off a tick without scratchin' his hide (my attempt at a 'folksy' reference ).

I see that yours even comes with a spare pivot on the off chance that you wear out the primary one. :p

Folksey...That is a great way to describe mine Coats...with it's spearpoint, long pull and a point that could clean out the eye of a needle is personifies folksey!

Been EDC a Coats for 8 years now, same work knife for 5 years now and i rotate between several for dress. I need to learn how to post pics.

I've never seen so beautiful toothpick's, Waynorth's and Absintheur's make Case's toothpick's look so fugly!

Keep the Coats a-coming!! Some real impressive work by Ken showing up here!

Posted before, but here's my stabilized buckeye burl shadow sticker. It tips the Toledos at a feathery 1.77 oz., speaks with a fine clear voice, and walks like it has ball bearings on its shoes. :)

Thanks, Wagglebee. The scales remind me of some of the old celluloids, but without the dreaded outgassing.
