Hey guys, i just finished cutting up some new cocobolo. This is more of my beautiful old growth Mexican stock, in the country by at least 1954!
Cocobolo is considered the classic knife handle wood. Its incredible strength ratings mean it stands up in even the hardest use knives. But cocobolo is best known for being the king of the kitchen.
Its beautiful warm reds, yellows and deep browns make it a stunning wood to look at, its water proof qualities make it easy to maintain and long lasting, and its incredible oil content keep the handle sanitary by actively killing microbes that are on the wood's surface. All blocks are 6 inchs long, 1.75 inches wide and 1 inch thick, with the exception of 14 which is 1.375 thick
