COCOBOLO COMPANION. Hand made from 1095 high carbon steel. Full tang full taper grind. The hand rubbed blade is 3 & 3/8" long and is 7 & 3/8" overall. The 3 & 7/8" hand sanded and buffed handles have two 3/16" brass pins and a 1/4" brass lanyard hole. Price includes a custom molded Kydex sheath and shipping to the US. Paypal and money orders. This cocobolo Companion is nice! My zebrawood Companion is a really an excellent knife system to actually carry and use. It is light in the 1/8" stock, especially when combined w/ Doug's well thought out kydex sheath. The sheath is infinitely adjustable from vertical to horizontal carry and it holds the knife securely. The four finger handle on this is well contoured w/ fullness for good grip and the taper toward the end seeming to add to manueverability. The blade shape gives a useful point for drilling/poking and also a bit of belly for easy slicing. The heat treat and temper seem fine as it keeps a good edge. As for the edge, I do like its cutting performance better w/ the convex I put on it. As stated this is a nice design to actually carry, use and beat on, and the price is amazing for a handmade knife.:thumbup:
 
I'll take it. OK, so I can't stand it any more, I was going to wait until after your passaround, but this is too good a deal to pass up.
