That's beautiful Ken - I want one of your knives so bad, I seriously view your FS knives every day! I feel bad for not buying them! Seriously you have to be crazy not to jump on a knife like this. My excuse is that I just don't have a need for fixed blades - they'd just sit on the shelf and what fun is that!
Questions:
What's the tang length and the build like?
Can I see an in hand shot?

Mr. Clean,

I've added a picture of the knife in hand up above.

The tang was around 3.5 inches in length.

Here is a quick description of how I finish the handle. The guard was drilled and then hand filed to a tight fit (where it will almost go all the way on). I apply a thin coat of JB weld and then press fit the guard in place. I drill out the tang slot in the handle and clean it up with my broach so that there is a good fit. Before epoxying the handle I shape the handle profile on the band saw. After the handle is epoxied on I drill the pin hole, epoxy it in place. Next I finsh the shape of the handle by sanding it by hand up 400 grit. Once the sanding is done I apply a wood finsh.
