Lanny's Clip:

Clip blade in Hitachi Blue #2
-Flat ground, drawn swedge, long pull nick, hand rubbed satin finish, 1/8" thickness

Cocobolo scales

Stainless steel bolsters, double pinned shield, and mill relieved liners

Closed length: 3.8125"
OAL: 6.5"

Pull is a 5, the blade lies centered, and the spring is flush in all 3 positions
Walks and talks with very smooth action.

I assume the #1 stamped on the tang means that it's the first knife of that pattern that you've made? Maybe I'm wrong and have no clue what I'm talking about but it's a great looking knife!!

The #1 on the pile side actually means that it is the second knife of its kind. The prototypes are stamped with a "P". I am probably not going to continue this practice, though, and will most likely be marking the pile side of the tang with a sort of serial number instead. Haven't quite figured it out yet, but it will probably be a combo of date, and knife number.
