What wood could what tang hood be?

Rosobolo cocwood?

Let's see who's right:

Best,
Haebbie;) :)

Okay, well, this should be a riddle: What handle is made of rosewood and what one is made of cocobolo. I don't know it and I thought you guys help me to sort the knives, that I know what is missing in my collection.

Sorry for the confusion, this was the desperate trial to phrase funny sentences.

With careful regards,
Herbert

Its not an easy question to answer. I think all of the knives shown have handles that started out as laminated woods. This stuff is beautiful and extremely tough. It can also be died to make it resemble just about any wood out there. The part that makes it really confusing is that each wood type has an acceptable range of color variation. Some of them might overlap.
I think the only way to know for sure, would be to go by the model numbers, or catalogue numbers, found on the label.
Do you have those?

Joe, many thanks for your answer! The Problem is: I only have the Numers on the Blade, except the 120, this is a SP3-0. I bought this knife and didn't get a certificate. The seller means, Buck didn't give out one for this knife. Can that be true? Furthermore I dont have any numbers. Here's the knife list with the translated date code:

102 made 1992
103 made 1995
105 made 2005
118 made 1996
119 made 1993
120 made 2005 (on Box 10-02-06)

Joe, I would be very pleased if you help me

Best regards,
Herbert
