I have the Code 4 Spear Point and haven't tried to change anything inside yet, tempted but not yet.
I used some Nano Oil 10 weight on the pivot area and also put a few drops down inside where the spring rubs against the lock bar, overall much smoother and still a very strong lock up.
IF I ever get to the point of taking it apart, hesitant to do so as I feel once you remove stuff, it seems to remember being free and will start removing itself during use

don't know if they have any Loctite applied to the screws? BUT what I would do would be similar to what the fellow in the video did, at least on the washers, I would use an ultra fine spyderco stone to lightly polish the washers, less material removed and you still have a mirror smooth finish on them, and for the lock bar spring?
What I have in mind would be to gently radius the very end of the spring where it contacts the lock bar and also lightly sand down and polish up the area that the spring rides against, making it a very smooth action when opening or closing, so there wouldn't be any rough surface on either part, a bit more work to do in the factory but for an individual it might be worth it, but as I say, right now it's pretty smooth without having to disassemble the knife.
Love the spear point a lot so far, edge came acceptably sharp and will sharpen it more when it's necessary.
