Here's the latest knife out of my shop. It's been a long time since I've used burlap. It was fun making this one!

This is a new design for me. It started out as a bar of 5/32" 1095 from Aldo. I tapered from the Ricasso to both ends. My first attempt at a double tapered knife!

I hand sanded the blade to a nice 400 grit. The Ricasso is hand sanded to 600 grit.

The bolsters are black micarta with a copper spacer. A black liner starts the whole thing off. The burlap was made from a Latin America burlap coffee bag. I made the handles myself. The colors you see in the handle are from the logo that was on the coffee bag.

I hope you like it!

Comes with the leather sheath pictured. It's a handcrafted Premium leather sheath hand tooled by myself.

(sorry for the poor pictures. I'm "between" cameras now and used my cell phone)

Steel: 5/32" Aldo's 1095 flat grind.
Handles: Coffee Bag Burlap handmade by myself.
Hardware: Three 3/16" black micarta pins. (one is in the bolsters and disappears), Bolsters are black Micarta
Blade Height: 15/16" at the ricasso
Blade Length: 3 1/4" cutting edge
OAL: 7 3/4"

Includes my Common Sense Lifetime Warranty and Lifetime Free Sharpening. You only pay for shipping to me and back to yourself.

$175. This includes all PayPal fees (if paying by PayPal) and FREE USPS Priority Shipping to the U.S.! Payment via PayPal at donaldlawson@gmail.com or USPS Money Order.

This knife is posted elsewhere on the Internet, so the first one to reply "I'll take it", will be the new owner!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words! This knife feels really good in the hands and comes screaming sharp!

Yes, it comes out of the sheath easy but still tight enough you can turn it upside down and shake it and not have it come out. I just use my thumb and fore finger to pull it out.

Thanks for the order, I appreciate it! I missed the mail lady today, but I'll get it in the mail to you tomorrow!
