This knife realy did not want to leave me because i love it to much. But I need more steel and i need to buy a new drill press. the Handle is Cocobolo wood in the shape of a coffin. It has copper pins around the edge of the coffin. There is solid silver 1944 mercury dimes inlayed on each side of the handle. The guard is O-1 and it is twisted and curved with fish tale file work on the ends. the blade is also made from 0-1 and has a antique finish that has taken me many years to pefect. the blade has sprial file work on the spine and is flat ground. this is very very sharp and will cut a water bottle in half with one cut. The price is 300.00 and it will include a leather sheath made by my custom leather worker. shipping in the conus is $10.00. This knife is very very nice and i am sad to see it go but i know that you will love it. it is 8 1/2" long and has a blade length of 4 3/10". Thanks for looking, just say "Ill take it" if you want it

I like it - it's a very interesting design.

Is there some connection between the coffin theme and the dimes?

no not realy, just wanted an old western style knife and i have allwase liked the silver dimes

I am going to to drop the price to $200 i relized i priced it to high and im sorry, the $200 will include the sheath.
