Coffin Handle Bowie

Here's a large bowie style blade done in forged 5160. The blade has a long false edge which could be sharpened if the buyer wished. It's finished to a 800g hand sanded satin finish. This is a full tang with fine bloodwood handle slabs which are held with stainless pins. The guard is polished 01 steel. Although this is a larger blade, it is really light and quick in the hand with the long distall taper. Comes with a matching sheath fitted with a stud to go in a belt or worn under a sash. Spec's are:
OAL: 14 1/2"
Blade: 9 1/2" to the guard
Width: 1 1/2"
Thickness:3/16" at the guard

That is an impressive Bowie.

It seems to have a "dogbone" style handle, which I prefer to the coffin handle.
