I'm trying to work outside the box a bit, this is a piece I've been meaning to make for a while now. This classy dagger and sheath would wear well just about anywhere.

I used my finest piece of Box Elder Burl for this blade. Frame handle construction, well balanced and handles nicely. Both edges are stropped to shaving sharp.

The sheath is hand tooled and stitched premium European veg tan leather. Sealed with Resolene for durability. Button snap closure.

This is one of the nicest pieces I've done lately. Excellent form, fit and finish. Very handsome package w/nice contrast between blade and sheath.

Blade & Guard @ 800 grit satin polish, Handle @2000 grit & finished off with ren wax and hand buffed.

CTS-XHP @ 61 w/LN2 Cryo
6.7" Blade length, 11.3" OAL
K&G Stabilized Box Elder Burl
416SS Hardware
Black G10 Frame and Spacer
8.0oz

$395 shipped, includes pictured sheath. Paypal preferred.

Thanks everyone... I'm probably gonna try to snap some better shots of it in a bit. I was right at the end of the day yesterday and this darned winter no sunlight thing is a bummer. I really like outdoor lighting, but it's a bit of a game to get it as good as you can with a decent indoor setup.

edit: Updated the pics

Thank you, hopefully I find a buyer that thinks so too. This is a pretty unique piece. Very nice in hand.

I did a bit of a price drop, hopefully switching from a 4 to a 3 helps.

The sheath alone is worth a few bucks on this one... really carries nicely, sits right against your leg. Button snap feels just right too. The other thing that is cool is this is one of the few blades/sheaths that is fully ambidextrous. Kinda nice for lefties like me.

That piece is unnecessarily beautiful! If our dollar wasn't HORRID right now and it wasn't nearing Christmas time, I'm not sure I could resist

Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words.

I really hope this one sells... If it doesn't I'm going to miss out on my dream gun. :(
