Hi All, The story behind this piece is, My wife and I built our house 3 years ago. Our electrician is a friend of my wifes and wouldn't take a payment for his work so, we agreed on a trade a services. He said make me a big Ole' bowie and left it at that. So hey, cool, seems I get to do anything I want. I decided to do some things I don't normally get to do.

Hope you enjoy the pic's

Nice piece. Your electrician friend is gonna want to rewire your house when he sees that.

Very very nice. The work is outstanding on the knife and the sheath is just top notch. All very impressive. Which was more difficult, the knife or sheath?

Thanks Dan, The pique work took a long time to do but this time I had a lot of resistance making the sheath. The ray skin made wet molding a bit more challenging because it doesn't stretch as well. I also kept having complications with forming the tip. I make a die set and press each half of the tip. The tip kept tearing the nickel at the point until I got the die tunned in but I finally got it.

Doesn't get much nicer than that set.....wonderful work.

I'm always impressed. Nicely done.

Absolutely Beautiful!!!!!

I would come wire your house for that! Although it would burn down, because I know nothing about wiring, nor am I particularly handy at much else!
