Coffin-Handled Puukko

Here is a Coffin-Handled Puukko forged from 3/16" 52100. Blade is 4 1/4" with a nice distal taper. Hand sanded to 400 grit. Heat treated to 58-59 RC. Handle is 4 3/8" with stabilized Red Coolibah Burl. Its tang extends all the way through the handle and the cap is threaded onto the tang. Handle shape is surprisingly comfortable to the hand. Comes with leather sheath.

Gorgeous puukko that any Finn would be proud to own. Full flat grind? A Scandi grind would take it over the top.
