Coffin Jack (in honor of 2011 Collab Knife)

That's the rumor but a picture confirmation would be nice.

It's not a rumor and I am awaiting the official okeedoke to post images of the prototypes that I shot several months ago. Stay tuned for further developments...

Rumor may not have been the best word choice. Looking forward to those pics.:cool::thumbup:

thawk, The E.C. Simmons St. Louis knife you posted looks to be 1900 to 1910 to me.
It was before the traditional Keen Kutter Bar and wedge logo, plus the wrap around spring
points to the earlier date of manufacture. I have seem very few knives stamped this way
on the tang with the Keen Kutter on the bolster.

It certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings if the collab looked something like this one. I bought a Winchester coffin jack yesterday (in transit now) to train myself for the new collab knife. - Ed

Thank for the info P1123. My friend will be glad to get that information. ;) It is an outstanding knife and pattern. I think this pattern will be a big hit for Case. Looking forward to seeing Kerry's photos, and curious about the handles. That is some fiery pearl there Gus. Nice photos.

Greg, that's a nice knife. Hope the one I bought will look something like it. Your pictures are always great as well. - Ed

Hi,

Nice photos all. Some pretty Jacks.

You know, just when I think you guys have taught me a bit about all the different patterns out there. You start a thread like this and show me things I never could have imagined!
