"Coffin Mountain" Folder

Thanks to Mr. Dan Berry for naming this one for me.

I thought this one was sold but as sometimes happens the deal fell through.....
so, here it is again

Blade: 3 3/4" tip of blade to front of bolsters, D2 tool steel at 61 Rc, Hand rubbed satin finish, ground swedge, thumb grooves on ramp
OAL open: 8 7/8"
OAL closed: 5 1/8"
Scales: Black linen micarta
Frame: .074 6AL4V titanium, Hand finished to 400 grit then anodized blue
Bolsters: Titanium bead blasted then anodized blue (Looks more gray than blue)
Thumb stud: Turned from 416 ss with raised checkering
Pocket clip: Milled from 3/16" titanium, orange peel finish, anodized blue
Lock: Hidden pocket lock
Hardware: Stainless Steel

Onlay on left bolster is titanium, stippled. This was special ordered by my customer to give him a good "thumb grip" when open. It actually works just as he had planned.

Price: $530.00 includes shipping and insurance by US Priority Mail to US addresses

Thanks mmarlyn.

Also thanks for the nice comments. As for the lock, this type of lock has been around for quite a while. I don't see it being done very much. It is quite a bit more trouble to cut in than a regular liner lock. I am doing more of them now because, to me, it gives a nice neat appearance to the bottom of the knife.
