cofusing case?????

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the case pattern stamp that has the the letter "C" forming a tail under the ase xx. I think it is the 80's but not sure if so do the dots work the same as the 70's

That's the 90's stamp, used from mid 1993 thru 1999

thanks i just picked up a bunch of these from the early 1990's. I actually called case after i posted here. After scannig it and emailing it, they told me that stamp was used from 90 to late 93 when it was changed again. If any one likes cases email miller9534@sbcglobal.net I will send you pics of these beauties still in the factory packages of 10 pcs. Bulk? also case told me that the quit shipping knives in boxes of 10 around 1994. cool stuff!

Knifeaholic had it right.... sounds as though the person at Case didn't give you the right info.

1990-1993 (and a few 94's) had normal lettering CASE XX
and the date shown as e.g. 19USA93

The Long tailed C and dots was introduced in 94 and ran through to 1999

Thats my luck! the worst part, Ive already listed them on ebay as 90-93 mfg.
