Well here it is, my third folder. I went for the full scale 9 1/4" open and 5 1/4" closed. Blade and spring are 1095, Liners 410 ss, bolsters are nickel silver and handles are Amboya burl. Still a little rough on fit and finish. This will be my daily carry so I went with a hand rubbed finish so I can touch it up every now and then.

Thanks Kerry and Tony for sharing. I plan to work on some more to get a better finish.

I've been thinking about this challenge too....I have the plans all printed out too...but no time right now.

Its and old husky which is set in concrete in the desert. Its a memorial to desert riders. When they die people take their boots, gloves empty beer bottles and set them in concrete around the bike.
 
Looks awesome! I hope to have some time starting in June to get to work on one of these...

Hey! You did a pretty good job on that being your 3rd folder and all. :thumbup: It's a pocketful isn't it :)

I really love the burl too. Nice handle selection.
 
The way to get better is keep doing it. Nice job, I'm impressed it being your 3rd folder.
