Here is another wood that i have brought up from Central America. It is called Cola De Pava. It is a beautiful wood, it is not as dense and heavy as the rosewoods, reminds me of the density of walnut. The colors tend to finish out a blue and pink color, as shown in these photos. This is the natural color of this burl, these have not been died. Heres are some pictures of some sets that i have up in my webstore. Thank you for your interest in my woods, and please check out the cola de pava, it is by far one of the pretties woods i have seen in person. I will be listing more this week!

The wood is beautiful. I have a question however. Is the wood stabilized or treated? How is shrinkage and warping? I ask because I just purchased a lot of natural wood material from a supplier who is not a member of this site and the "stabilized" wood is warped terribly. Makes me sick. So now it looks like I need to educate myself more on the subject. What should I expect from your material and what do you recommend before using it?

Thank you,

YAY! I finally won one of the auctions! Your stuff is apparently quite popular. Best wishes on the continuing success of your eBay store.

I hate to bring up a dead thread, but I just finished a small kitchen knife with some of these scales and holy smokes, is it amazing! Thanks John!
