One ounce my not sound like much but the knife went from 5.5oz to 4.5oz thats about a 20% weight reduction, and also that one onuce was removed from the handle makeing the new knife more idealy blade heavy.
 
I have been eyeing rhe Lawman and Mini Lawman at the local Bass Pro for weeks and based on what I have seen here I bought a Mini Lawman yesterday. The full size Lawman still had the steel liners but I was drawn to the Mini due to its size and weight (pretty much ideal for an EDC) and being all G-10 framed. It hasn't left my pocket since yesterday. This knife impresses the heck out of me. It's as solid as I could ever hope for, locks tight aa a drum with absolutely zero blade play, and has outstanding ergonomics. I really like the blade profile with plenty of belly. Outstanding!
 
I got my AL yesterday and I already love it. I was surprised how light it is. Wow... great ergos, blade size and shape, solid lockup, and I actually like the heavily textured handle. For what I paid for it I'm thinking this knife rivals the Boker Trance for price vs quality.
 
Nothing wrong with that Sam. They will get the G10 only versions when they restock after selling those lined ones. Yourcornerstoredotcom had G10 versions. Thats what they sent me anyway.

Do you happen to know where I could look for the SS liner version of the AL? Seems most of my usual vendors only have the G10 only version. Thanks for any help.
 
Most are probably out of them. Its a very popular knife from what dealers tell me.

If you can't find one with liners I do have two extra ones. I have five of these models currently with just one being the liner less G10 only version. Ironically the liner less version is the one I carry the most. If you can't find one and you sweet talk me you can probably twist my arm out of one of the lined ones for what I paid for it. :D

I own the first version...since it was launched...it is built like a tank...I've been very happy with it.
 
A great knife, and a fantastic lock. For a blade of it's size, it acts like a fixed blade. All G-10 was a vast improvement in it's feel.
