Has anyone out there ever modified a CS B&T? I was thinking about cutting part of the handle/ring off and making a new handle out of something...

Haven't done one of those but I've done a bunch of others - not too hard if you're ok with woodworking. Generally, make up each side of the handles (2 scales), recess for the tang, epoxy together, sand and finish. What are you thinking of using ?

I think I can pull it off with good results. I have some sheets of 1/16 thick carbon fiber I was thinking about using.
