COLD STEEL BROOKLYN BAT VIDEO

did t-rip plug another gsm brand they own of Eyewear protection in that video...think she did.......

id go check but im not watching it again........

when Lynn gave us his goodbye video and said gsm could do everying he did and more.......he should have just said gsm would not spend time on interesting designs and high quality like he did...but they could outdo him on social media........and tell us how to make colored ice balls to smash with a bat.......

the more this all down goes downhill more and more.......the more I think of that Lynn video as like a 70s terrorist type hostage video with him reading from pre-written cards, lol....

I see what they are trying to do and I can cut them some slack here. The reality is this: the world is a dangerous place, and it is getting even more dangerous every day. Having a tool like this in your vehicle might just save your life.

Is there a chance that die hard CS fans are a small, hard to please group of people, and GSM's new marketing strategies will actually move way more "units?"
Maybe on the cheap end , for awhile ...at the level of Mtech etc .

Not that bad YET , but going in that direction .

Once they ruin the brand reputation , it will be hard to recover . :(

I've seen this with many companies like SOG and Gerber etc .

Maybe CRKT was always this way , with some better stuff mixed in with crap quality ?

GSM is failing to clearly distinguish a "value" line of product vs a higher end , big mistake in the long run ,IMO .

Is commercial success all that matters ?

If so , pretty sad , IMO .

The Dao is lost .

Well at least for me I have absolutely no use for a baseball bat or any kind of bat. I prefer my expandable baton. Same concept

These are big and heavy tools. Less than ideal for a quick and violent attack. A traditional blackjack or tire thumper would be far better.

Are Cold Steel bats legal for any baseball or softball leagues? Or are they nothing but weapons? A jury might wonder.

You can use the bigger ones to play ball, but the Shorty and the Boat Bat are hard to justify as sporting goods.
