Per Cold Steel's catalogs, the stainless steel version (pictured above) was produced from 1995-1999, and the Carbon V version (pictured below) was produced from 1995-2001.

Does anyone have the Cold Steel Bush Ranger? If so, how do you like it? How would you compare it to a Recon 1 and a AD-10? I'm trying to decide which to get, but I'm leaning towards the Bush Ranger at this time. Thank you.

The AD-10 has the most comfortable grip in a folding knife for me personally! That being said the Bush Ranger is no slouch …great ergos. I’ve got XL- XXL sized hands depending on measurements. Bought a new BR for this camping trip as my son “stole” my older version. Great knife!
