Does anyone here have any experience throwing the Cold Steel Bushman Bowie, or just regular Bushman for that matter? I've read a few posts online saying that they work as a throwing knives, but I was hoping for some in depth info.
I'm waiting until I get better at throwing knives to use a Bushman. Right now I use a barely sharpened purpose-made thrower. Frankly, the Branson knives look like the best tool for the job if you want to stick wood hundreds of times over.

I have several Cold Steel Perfect Balance Throwers already (I like them quite a bit btw) but the Bushman is intriguing to me as a multipurpose knife with, possibly, good throwing characteristics.
The Perfect Balance throwers are about 15 ounces, and I believe the Bushman Bowies are about 10 ounces. I was looking to try a 10 ounce thrower and had read that some people do throw their Bushman.
the reason why I wouldn't wanna throw it is that sharpened blade. unless your a pro or throw from the handle and even then, I like to keep my blades very sharp. One throw and miss and it would shread the edges I like to get on my knifes.
that being said i just watched this http://www.coldsteel.com/bushmanseries.html and it looks they throw it pretty well. they also bent it to 90 degrees and it sprung back great so it should be able to take a hit (or a few thosand throws) pretty darn well.
