Cold Steel Espada type?

Cold Steel Espada XL lists Blade length at 7.5" and overall length at 16 3/4"
This one has a blade length over 7.5" and Overall length 17"+
Is this normal variation?

That's the most expensive premium polished G10 variation you have there, Extra Large. Is the blade steel marked? It's should have S35vn, if not that then it's likely AUS8A, which would mean it's an older knife.

No markings on the blade other than the name and Tiawan.
Were AUS8A versions made to different specifications? Unfortunately, I do not know the history other than it was passed down from my late father who was an avid collector of knives of all sorts.

It's always been the same exact knife other than blade steel change, no difference in specifications.

My G-10 Espada XL is 17" to 17.125" depending how you measure.

Don't believe the listed specs. Many companies get them quite wrong at times.
This isn't that far off, really.
