Cold Steel Faceoff: Rajah II or Spartan?

Very well Put! I think that some people don't like CS because they make folders, for much less money than expensive folders, that so easily dominate those expensive folders, just like you said.

That has been my conclusion all along.

I have both the Rajah II & Spartan; either one is an excellent choice to add to your BOB as a hard use folding knife. Flip a coin to decide! Also the difference in weight is something to consider.

ZT200 is a sweet knife as well, probably would go head to head decently with the Spartan, but is pricey (in comparison) to the Spartan - $58 versus $128 for the ZT...

just my humble opinion.

I have a Rajah I, Rajah II, and a couple Spartans. I carry one of the Spartans in my bag every day, but if the SHTF, I'd go for the Rajah.
I like using the Rajah II in the kitchen too, just for fun.

I'm not sure the 0200 will go head to head with the spartan at all.Actually, I don't think it would even be close.I have a 0400 and I know the 0200 is a little bigger and stronger but the spartan dwarfs the 0400 and is just in another league entirely. From the pictures I've seen on the net it looks like the liner locks are the same even though The 200 has full steel liners.

I like both knives, but the Rajah is a better BoB choice, for sure. If you can wait a month or two, the new 5.5" clip point Voyager would be even better though.

Spartan for sure. It's an amazingly versatile knife once you grind the off. I'm carrying mine right now.
