I admire your stance on the politics of the situation. I see it can be real easy to get sucked into it here on BFC.
And, you are so spot on about the no new designs thing.
It's all been done before, it's just the materials that change as time goes by.
I need to remind myself of that from time to time.
 
Seen these for sale on a decent website I buy from, are they still pretty good or have the standards changed?

And what's cold steels heat treat like on these simple carbon steels?
