Up for sale is a Cold Steel Large Espada model 62NL. It's got the polished aluminum handles with the polished G10 scales. It's been on backorder for about a year now and just recently came back to market. I've posted before about how long I'd awaited it's return from a local dealer, and now I've become somewhat disenchanted with the whole ordeal. Comes with everything you'd get new (even the plastic protectors) Box, paper warning, bubble wrap, etc. I've only opened it a few times, never carried out of the house. You can see it in a video on YouTube on my channel, PharmDoc83. The only issue I can see with it is a light scratch on the pivot aluminum area (Buff it out?). I got a pretty good deal on it, I paid $220 + tax for it back in June, I'll offer it up for $SOLD. I'll accept MO or PayPal gift, and I'll ship it packaged in a flat rate box from the USPS insured for the MSRP listed on Cold Steel's website. Not particularly looking for trades at this time. Honestly I'd just like to get as much back out of this as possible so I can use it for something that leaves less of a bad taste in my mouth. Feel free to shoot me offers via PM or email. P.S. I'll also include a bonus knife to anyone who purchases this bad boy. It'll be a small surprise, but I'll offer a tiny hint. It's blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel and it's NIB... or New In plastic package?

Just to clarify...

I put (Blem?) in the description because of the scratch. It was NOT sold as a factory blem!!!! The overall function, fit, and finish of this knife is otherwise FANTASTIC. It just has that small mark near the pivot screw. Where it came from I'm not sure. When I tried it in my pocket when I first got it, I didn't have change or keys or ANYTHING else in there, so I don't know if it grazed a rivet on my jeans or if it was like that from the dealer. All I know is that it's a light scratch, and doesn't detract from the function AT ALL. Also, I know that these have been known to be stiff and a bit unwieldy to unlock from open, but this one seems to be a very easy lockback. I've articulated an XL Espada of a friend of mine and THAT thing was a PITA to close. No such issues with this one. As they say, "Like butta!".

General comment: Holy crap! International shipping in EXPENSIVE!!! No lie, UPS and DHL say Oshkosh to Stockholm @ $112 :eek:
