Just wanted to offer a correction; steel on the Lucky One is S35-VN, not S30-VN. Just wanted to point that out.


And I was like you; preferred to carry modern locking folders. However, this one converted me. Now I carry the Lucky One and a small fixed blade. Doesn't work for everyone though, no problem.

Whoever ends up purchasing will be quite, shall I say, "lucky".

I am not sure how to answer the question of thickness behind the edge...sorry.
I am looking for a gentleman's carry to drop in my suite pocket.I work for a fortune 500 corporation in sales with the public.Any knife at all is against their policy so really it will be for very occasional discreet or emergency use.
I am going to try a spyderco air next .they are rarely on the exchange tho.
 
no I started carrying it and now don't want the gb air.... sorry. but two thumbs up on the lucky. it rides inside my suit jacket clipped on the small inside lower pocket.
