Cold Steel Master Hunter - I did it my way...

wow that looks real nice.

I have a question for you, was the cs mh full tang?
I'm asking because I'm wondering if I should do the same with mine.. I notice the end of the kraton handle sort of flexes, Thanks.

I used a magnet and the tang is full to the end unlike a Mora or similar hidden tangs. The rivet/tube is attached to the steel.

Man, you are an artist. Very good work. Love that sheath!! The handle is superbly done too.

Thats really nice! Is the handle 1 piece or laminated? I'm curious how you put it together, looks great!

Oh man that is beautiful!

I would carry my MH more if it looked like that, Its been sharpened and sanded so much now that you can't even really see the markings on the blade, ugh im going to have to get another one now.:D

Thank you for your positive replys. There are few answers to your guestions:
- No, I did not take any pictures of the process. There was no time...
- Thank you for wood determination. It is obviously a very common wood, but now, sanded and soaked with linseed oil and Brown gunstock oil it looks great.
- Tang is full to the end and the original hollov rivet goes through it. Tang is 14 - 15 mm wide, I didn't measured it. There was diffilcut to drill two more holes even with my super hard drills.
- handle is made from two layers, glued together with epoxy end peened with rivets and brass tube. There is no hollow place in handle (where it is cut out for the tang), little slots are filled with glue.
- trailmaster? My trailmaster has wooden handle and custom sheath :D

You did a great job. However the Kraton handle is a favorite of mine, but whatever a guy likes.:)

Your handle shapes are just a bit different than most, but still look very comfortable and classy. I'm impressed! Nice work, keep it up and show us more more

Great work
The knife is a real beauty.
Love to see some pitcs when you get it out in the field

Nicely done Samek. I could recommend my CS Recon Scout for a custom sheath in the future if you wouldn't mind doing one.
