Cold Steel Natchez Bowie in SK-5 steel?

It's important to note that the Natchez handle destroyed in the above picture wasn't the result of batoning or simple chopping. They apparently hammered the pommel end, trying to drive the knife into hardwood as if it were a giant nail and that caused the split. Not very smart or even good technique and one that would split the wood of any encapsulated tang.

Some of the CS marketing is silly......but its still entertaining.
I do dislike some of their stuff but to be honest i have (including hawks, throwing knives, fixed blades, folders and machetes) at least 26 CS products!
And by those stats CS is my number 2 most bought brand, after Victorinox.
Maybe they will come out with a 12 inch bladed Trailmaster someday! Or a Natchez with full tang set up like the Trailmaster!
To me a Natchez with full length tang and leather handle set up like the Marbles Trailmaker would be awesome!
In case you aren't familiar with the Trailmaker here's mine next to my CS Trailmaster-

I've had the handle off my Trailmaker, the tang is very wide actually and the end is threaded and extends into the pommel (attached by a threaded nut).

There was no support for the handle in what was done to that poor knife. The blade seems to have held up though:) Tholiver, that is the biggest Marbles knife I've ever seen! That's a good looking camp knife with a traditional flair. Thanks.
