Two hands to close? No thanks, I'm lazy.
Thanks!Similar in that it slides back and forth...but different in how it interfaces with the blade.

I know they’re going to release one in S35vn and another version in a budget steel.Impressive, although the TriAd lock is probably all I'll ever need. Any idea what the blade steel is?
I'm probably tasteless when it comes to folders, but I kind of like the design. I'll pick one up, if nothing else to try out the new lock.
Is that lock similar to Demko's shark lock?
based on the catalogue, they've got a smaller budget version with 4116 and a larger premium version with s35vnImpressive, although the TriAd lock is probably all I'll ever need. Any idea what the blade steel is?
Similarities to other locks aside, I wonder how this design is affected by dirt/debris being in the interfaces, springs, etc. All locks have pros and cons, I just wonder how the Atlas lock compares to the Triad when it comes to being dirty.
For funsiesAfter many decades of cleaning debris (pocket lint, and misc. accumulations) that can/does affect lock performance, I would say this design appears to have a lot of areas to collect said debris. Combined with bearings, which also love debris ... the basic questions would be a simple ..., why? (age ole answer, marketing).
