Looks like lots of great stuff this year.

I will definitely be getting at least two of the Broken Skull's and a Colossus.

Can't wait to see the rest of the line-up—lot's of cool names this time around.

Cold Steel,

I see the new 3V SRK and Recon Tanto has been added to the product list.
Will these be manufactured in Taiwan like the other new 3V models?

Thanks.

wut!? only 2 new folders + updated swift?

There is another folder called the Pro Lite that I read about on the CS forums. It's an AD designed budget folder.

Glad they are starting to do some XHP folders in satin finish.

yeah looks like that's my last hope for 2016 for a "normal" sized folder...

I am sure I will love all if not most, BUT will have to wait until almost 2017 until they are available : )

Dang, MSRP on Colossus $269, $300 for the DLC version? Wow, even with the street price reduction, that's gonna be more than I care for. And the Broken Skull is limited edition? How limited? Definitely want one...

Aside from that, I'll be getting the machetes(I'm a big machete collector), that LaFontaine thrower looks pretty sweet, the Recon Hawk is a definite, several of the daggers interest me(but not sure if I'll get them, depends on street prices), I want the Blackthorn shillelagh, and I will finally add a mace to my collection.

I NEED that white storm trooper Broken Skull (or maybe orange? I like orange) and MAA mace! The German longsword also really excites me, and I'm loving the all-steel axes. Definitely want one of those. I don't know how I feel about these new katana with hamons. Not much is said about them in the ad copy, so I'm not sure if they're real, and I hate fake hamons. They're so prevalent that it's part of the reason I prefer German swords these days. Speaking of which, I'm also a big fan of the new Messer. That thing is sweet! I need to pick some of these up!

Street price on the Colossus looks to be around $150. Not really that bad, all things considered.

Steven Seagull wakizashi looks bad ass. Another interesting change is the 1095 steel on their Crane katana and wakizashi. I like the look on those. It's a shame the crane wakizashi is now single hand only.

Ya, I think that the Colossus will be priced out of my affordability range, particularly when 30% is added to the price up here from the dollar etc. But there are still some fun toys coming in that wont break the bank. Kind of glad that the AUS8 dump happened when it and I saw all this in the fall, which is my hobby switch over period. I seriously loaded up on the AUS8, and I still have one more SRK inbound yet.

I'm curious about this as well. On knifecenter.com the product description says that these two knives are made in Japan

I'm curious if the updated Swift fixes the lock spring weakness as well as adding a safety. As a right-hander, I'm loving the position of the new safety. Perfect place to unlock while already having my thumb ready to deploy.
