I bought this one new. I did get carried in my hunting pack, but has not seen any use...
It is 8 1/4" O.A.L. The blade is VG-1
The only wear spots on it are on the rubber where it "snaps" into place in the sheath. The retention is very good on this one. The box however is a little rough. It arrived that way.
