Cold Steel Pocket Bushman

Out of morbid curiousity I ordered one today right before I saw this thread. Yeah, I recall some of the posts from years ago about the probs with the first gen, but I have still wanted one anyway so I am glad to see that some of the owners here think highly of them. It will join my new CS Twistmaster, as my Summer outdoor "use for anything" within reason, knives.

I have a couple of PB's. I put a bit of skateboard tape on all my knives that have too little grip friction for my tastes.

I've used my PB in all sorts of conditions and as long as you're holding it properly you shouldn't have any issues with it being too slippery.

Just got me PB today, nice for the low twentysomething I payed for it. man, that lock is tight out of the box, but very impressed none the less.

Yeah--just keep using it for a few weeks and the mating surfaces will polish themselves smooth. :)

I had one, liked it a lot -- then a buddy commented he had been thinking about getting one and made me a good trade offer for it so "new-knife-itis" won out and off it went to a new home.
i asked him about it a few months later and he loved it.
