Cold steel recon 1 Cts XHP question.

A more general question is why they find it necessary to have DLC on these new CTS-XHP blades at all. The steel doesn't really need it, it's plenty stain resistant. I'd much rather have a nice stonewash finish!

The Manix 2 DLC has a black TINI coating on the clip and the liners. I don't see where you get the idea the DLC on the CS is thinner. DLC is a super thin vapor deposit.
