it's been a while since i've handled a chinook but if i remember right i don't think the blade shape and FFG would be to conducive to something like, oh i don't know, using a the knife as a pry bar? (looks great for skinning or something though). If you're using them both as knives i'm sure neither is going to break very easily. who really cares though? they're not very similar knives really . .

So I guess you have a thread that compares two very different knives asking about a difference you'll never see in real use so you can not use that information for something useful?
