Cold Steel Rifleman hawk owners

Soulreaver604 that looks really nice. It took me a second or two to realize that it was a rifleman hawk.
 
repro, I have never had my rifleman come up off the handle. it does come down when I am throwing it and make a bad throw. Do you have the set screw for the side still? I put that in when I am actually going to do any real chopping. Sounds like your handle was too small for the eye (in which case replacement handles are cheap). If the handle is the right size and it is in fact the eye of the hawk that is over sized, then you can try and find a thicker handle and shape it down.
