FYI - if the SRK is made in Japan I don't think it would be Carbon V. If the knife says Carbon V on the ricasso near the handle, it was most likely made by Camillus before their closure in 2007.

SRK received. Its stamped Carbon V "Made in USA" and not Carbon V "Made in Japan". I'll be fine with it
even though the latter has better collector value.
