Does anyone have any info on the new stainless steel cold steel is using, Krupp 4116. I'm been thinking of getting the peacekeeper II with this steel cause its cheap but I'm not sure since I've never encountered this knife before. Need info.
This kind of steel has been used in a lot of kitchen knives, and its okay but not a great edge holder, IMHO. It is very stain resistant. 4116 is made in Germany, as a less expensive alternative to 440C. If you don't expect something astounding, it'll be fine.
