Cold Steel Sword Cane – Model #88SCM – Stainless Steel Head

This is the original long discontinued stainless steel head sword cane (not the later available aluminum head version). I picked this up back around the early-to-mid 2000’s.
The head is made of mirror-polished 300 series stainless steel that's highly resistant to rusting. The heavy stainless steel head is removable. This allows one to change the head or to more easily engrave or modify the head.
The blade on this sword cane is 23 3/4" long and has an overall reach of 30 1/2" when you include the head and handle. The blade has a stiff cruciform (4 sided) cross section and a sharp point. Press the release button on the shaft to disengage the lock and give a tug and the blade will be available to you.
The shaft of this cane is made out of eleven layers of laminated fiberglass which, in impact tests, proved to be unbreakable. Also, features a cap at the base end for traction.

IMPORTANT: Please check your local and state laws carefully regarding ownership. There are many states that have very strict regulations about this type of item.
