I have only carried once, never used or sharpened. I have applied Tuff Glide lubrication. The centering is not perfect but not rubbing. The photo I took is with the pivot loosened a bit. I have tightened the pivot now. like other Cold Steel I have owned it is stiff opening when new. Nice looking satin Blade, with standard Zytel scales. Don't have the box it came in.
